Now that was over, Julian walked over and put a hand out to help the kid up. He didn’t seem that much younger then him. So he kinda guessed he was in High school,”Names Julian, code name Hellion. Leader of the Hellions, and you are?”, he said with a friendly smile on his face with no aura or green eyes.

“Billy Kaplan.” Billy said with a smile, using his sleeve to wipe the blood off his cheek, he could always magic the stain away later. “Thank you again Julian, though I wish we met on better circumstances.” He wondered if Julian’s team, the Hellions, worked independently like the Young Avengers or worked for another team. 

He looked at him,”Kinda I’m part of this team for the Hellfires”, he said kinda worried, he knew the name didn’t hold such happy meanings, so he figured he would be scared to come with him now,”Yea, the Hellions are amazing though. Sure would be nice to have a new member”, he said smiling at him,”I mean it’s only great cause I’m just a awesome leader.”, he chuckled.

This guy has no trouble in being confident, Billy could see that. “No thanks, I’m not into joining any teams right now.” Besides, he was already with the Young Avengers and he wasn’t sure on how the others felt about the current situation right now with the whole declaration of war against the humans.

“Appreciate the offer though.”

“Oh? Well if you say so. We will welcome you any time. I mean, after all. The human kinda  seems to think your a freak. though I see a great team mate.”, he said as he was about to fly off,”Though stay in touch. I be in town for a bit, so if you change your mind. let me know. I like to sit around at the park around 3 in the afternoon.”

When the bat left the leader’s hand, the others started to get more hesitant. They knew that Billy wouldn’t do anything to fight back, but it looks like this one wasn’t afraid to use his powers openly.

A majority of the group ran off, pushing by Billy so that they wouldn’t have to cross paths with the new mutant. The leader noticed and he gritted his teeth, shouting something not really nice as he ran off, following after the group. 

“Uh.. thanks. I rather not know what they would do with that bat…” Billy said, watching as the others ran off. He turned to focus his attention on the newcomer, he could still feel the blood running down his cheek and he wiped it off, though it still bled.

“It’s kinda funny, I’m glad I found you like this. Not that I want you hurt. It’s just, I’m on a mission to find Mutants in need, and well you seem like you’re in need. I work along with the X-men. with my Teacher being Emma Frost.”, he said smiling once more,”and I’m here to offer if you would like to come and check out the x-men mansion. A School for the gifted.”

The group of bullies stopped, turning around to see Julian and already noticing that he was a mutant like Billy was. “Why don’t you mind your own business freak!?” The leader of the group stepping forward, a bat in one hand. “If you leave right now we won’t have to hurt ya.” 

Billy turned when he heard the shout from behind, he could see the newcomer’s green aura and knew that this was another mutant. ‘First Lensherr, now this kid…’ Billy could tell that this mutant wasn’t afraid to use his powers against humans, which made him wary. Much as he was disgusted with anti-mutant people, he didn’t want to see them hurt at his own expense.

Julian chuckled and wasn’t about to get into a fight over this, but he was going to make sure no one was harmed as well,”Is that so, I’ll take that from you”, he said pulling the bat from his hand snapping it in-half with his telekinesis powers,”Now how about you go back to class and learn your manners punk”,he said with a green crossing his arms.

Billy dashed into the alley, he could feel the mixture of blood and sweat moving down his cheek, the result of a rock being thrown by one member of the group chasing him. For a while he had been left alone, especially after what happened with his previous bullies, but the attack from Erik Lensherr, aka Magneto, has seem to cause an uproar within the entire anti-mutant community. 

It wasn’t a total secret, policies and protocols at his school insured that his mutant status didn’t go public. However, it didn’t seem to stop the small group from his school expressing their disgust and hatred and they decided to jump him.

‘Just because I’m a mutant doesn’t mean that I instantly support other psychopathic mutants!’ He thought to himself.

On Julian’s mission he was walking by an alley when he heard the word Mutant. He looked over and saw a boy being hit by some bully humans. This was just the thing he was looking for, and it was now time for him to act. He ran in behind the bullies and yelled.

“HEY! How about you deal with some one who will fight back!”, he said arms out and his eyes glowing with a small green aura around him,”Or are you scared?”, he said awaiting for the bullies to most likely run or fight him now.

“I-I didn’t just figure that out,” Sofia assured him trying to make herself sound more over confident than she already was. “I knew. I just didn’t admit it. I guess you can figure out now that I have a crush on you too? Hmm?”

Julian smile grew ten miles wide,”Well I knew you liked me a little, but I didn’t want to read your mind, I wanted to play the real way, and show you I trusted you”, he said leaning in for another soft quick kiss on the lips. He smiled after and  just looked her in the eyes so peacefully.

Not so surprised the second time around, Sofia’s lips met Julian’s and she kissed him back gently before opening her eyes and gazing up into his. Grinning, she asked, “Where do we go from here?”

“Well we, hahah, I guess as you would say, flow the wind”, he said smiling more.

He went through the power core to try an destroy it. He wonder if that had done it,”I’m not sure of that did it, but I do hope so”, he said looking at this Sentinels body to figure out if he had destroyed is. 

“I think you did,” Jean said smiling at him. “Nice work. We better start moving before…”

Unable to finish her sentence, Jean listened as the sound of more marching was heard and the ground began to shake below them.

Julian was concerned, this was already a hard mission. Jean really was testing his skills on this one. And he was going to have to stick close and follow her training. He flew over to her,”Something coming once more huh?”

For a moment in shock, Sofia thought about pulling away. She had just returned and there was still so much to catch up on, but yet there was just something about all of this that seemed so right to her and feeling his lips tenderly press on her own she couldn’t help but return the soft kiss as she bent down closer to him.

Julian loved it that she returned the kiss. He pulled away and smiled at her,”Guess you now figured I have had a crush on you huh?”, he said with smile like he felt like a king with the perfect queen holding him.
